Everman Joe C. Bean High School

Hello to my Everman ISD Bulldog Family! I am excited to become a part of this amazing school and community. I grew up in Fayette, Mississippi; a community similar to Everman. I graduated from Alcorn State University, a Historically Black College/University (HBCU) located in Lorman, Mississippi. While there, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science/Biomedical Engineering.

In 2005, I enrolled at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center for Biomedical Research but gradually became more interested in the field of education. My background in STEM has awarded me with many resources in which I have used to inspire, educate, and empower scholars and fellow colleagues to maximize their full potential. 

I later earned both my Master’s and Doctoral Degree from Concordia in Education Administration and worked as Campus Administrator on all levels including, elementary, middle, and high school. “I am fortunate to have a lot of administrators that I’ve learned from over the years, and I look forward to growing by learning and building leadership capacity within others in Everman ISD.”

“We are headed in the right direction with Project Based Learning and engaging learning experiences that will prepare our scholars for College, Career, Military Services, and ways to be contributing citizens post high school."
