I am a first-generation college graduate. I have been in education for eleven years. I was an English/Language Arts teacher for four years and a School Counselor for seven years. I have a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of North Texas and a Master's degree in School Counseling from Lamar University. I became a school counselor to help guide students in reaching their maximum potential and gaining the necessary skills to become lifelong learners who sustain personal growth.

I enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family, always sharing moments filled with laughter. Traveling is one of my greatest passions, and each summer I make it a goal to explore a new destination. I also prioritize self-care, recognizing its importance in maintaining my overall well-being.
