Assistant Principal - Rodrick Brown
Rodrick W. Brown is a student-centered educational leader with over two decades of experience in public education. Currently serving as the 12th Grade Assistant Principal at Everman Joe C. Bean High School, he is committed to fostering academic excellence, promoting a positive and inclusive school culture, and empowering both students and staff to thrive.
With a strong foundation in instructional leadership, student support services, and teacher development, Mr. Brown has held impactful roles as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and campus leader. His leadership is distinguished by a collaborative approach and a deep commitment to data-driven instruction, high behavioral and academic standards, and equitable outcomes for all students.
Beyond his administrative role, Mr. Brown supports key campus initiatives, serving as Department Chair, Website Coordinator, SAT Site Supervisor, Chairman of the Site-Based Decision Making (SBDM) Committee, and a member of the Attendance Task Force. His ability to lead with vision and versatility makes him a vital contributor to school-wide improvement efforts.
Mr. Brown holds a Masterโs degree in Education Administration from Concordia University and a Bachelorโs degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in History from Midwestern State University. Prior to his career in education, he gained valuable leadership and operational experience in the food service industry with ARAMARK at Midwestern State University and Texas Womanโs University.
Known for his ability to build strong, trust-based relationships with students, families, colleagues, and the broader community, Mr. Brown is dedicated to creating safe, inclusive, and high-performing learning environments that prepare students for lifelong success.
